@ramit I think a lot of the people in the buy vs rent discussion assume you’re just going to live there forever. What I see most is “buy at 30, by the time you’re 45 your mortgage will be 1/2 what typical rent will be, at 60 you don’t have a mortgage for the last 20-30 years of life”
