When someone makes Proverbs 22:6 out to say:
“Raise up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old—meh, flip a coin. It’s all really random. There’s no connection between faithfulness and blessing. Proverbs aren’t promises, after all.”
You should raise an eyebrow.
