@brandur Most people underestimate what logs can do because they’re crippled by (1) their tools, (2) preconceptions of what you might be able to do.
I saw in chat what @dale_neufeld could do in 30s with Splunk in 2013—immediately after that I bought the book, and was hooked on logs
