@DrOakley1689 Yes—as recently as the Reagan era, Blue meant conservative and Red stood for those closest to the ideology of China and the USSR.
I’ve researched how that changed, and it seems innocent enough, but I sometimes wonder if it was intentional, to distance the Dems from Communism.
