Also worth noting, God is emotional in perfect proportion. His emotions do not swing and sway in extremes like ours do. He can be in sorrow, but still be expectant of the coming kingdom. Like Jesus at Lazarus’ tomb.
He is sorrowful at the death, but thankful for the victory.
