You are going to force employers to raise *every* employee’s wage by the equivalent of $1 a year along with minimum wage, right? And you are prepared for price increases for everything along the way, right? And you are ready for employers to employ fewer people because their costs have gone up by government mandate, right? So you are ready for more unemployed people combined with lower tax collections demanding yet more government intervention, right? If a government-mandated minimum wage is such a fantastic idea, why not make it $30/h? Or $50/h? Or $1000/h? After all, forcing someone to pay someone else more money is a Good Thing™️ in your mind, right?
