Arctic sea ice extent (SIE) has likely reached its annual minimum and is beginning to expand.
It bottomed out at 4.602 million km² on Sep. 10th.
This now marks the 13th year in a row that a new record low has not been set. This year’s SIE minimum is higher than it was in 2007, https://t.co/VHXtUTXzcW
