@faith_raider If rereading poetry into its basic sentence form (no word changes, just location changes) is “murdering poetry”, then wouldn’t converting prose into a poetic form merely by moving words around to match a poem’s structure be “murdering prose”? — Warren Myers 🐧🐿 (@warrenmyers) Dec 9, 2021 from Twitter https://twitter.com/warrenmyers December 09, 2021 at 10:57AM …

Poems have a particular type of structure, and rhythm to them (of course, how they work in different languages or even substyles of the larger genre of poetry can vary, they still have accepted formats) — Warren Myers 🐧🐿 (@warrenmyers) Dec 9, 2021 from Twitter https://twitter.com/warrenmyers December …

@007mss It is THE tactic. Their battleground is language. I learned a valuable lesson from @jordanbpeterson : Never cede linguistic territory to the left. — Michael Broadie (@wheelin2serve) Dec 9, 2021 from http://twitter.com/wheelin2serve via IFTTT

@007mss The “Christians” that I see deconstructing are leftist in their thinking. They end up with “Paul is crap, focus on Jesus” or some variation thereof. The “Christians” I see defending it are using a definition that doesn’t fit the ACTUAL deconstruction that is happening. — Michael Broadie (@wheelin2serve) Dec 9, 2021 from http://twitter.com/wheelin2serve via …

Forcing yourself to read poetry where the *punctuation* says you should break for breaths and emphasis vs where the *meter* says you should is an interesting experience — Warren Myers 🐧🐿 (@warrenmyers) Dec 9, 2021 from Twitter https://twitter.com/warrenmyers December 09, 2021 at 10:12AM via IFTTT

In conclusion, it is incredible how delusional this column is. Brooks’ description of American conservatism itself is largely correct. His application of it to modern politics isn’t just myopic, it’s entirely blind. And it’s blind because Donald Trump has blinded him. — Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) Dec 9, 2021 from http://twitter.com/benshapiro via IFTTT

The reason it’s relevant that ~every #BLM martyr was a career criminal – we just found out that Duante Wright shot a man in the head – is that this directly counters the ORIGINAL C.
